1. What are the basic plot events of the chapter?

-Mr. Poole comes to Utterson and asks for help because something is wrong with Dr. Jekyll
-They both go to Dr. Jekyll’s house
-All the servants are freaking out
-Poole tells Utterson about all the weird freaky things that have been going on and how he knows it’s Mr. Hyde in that room
-Mr. Utterson recognizes Hyde’s voice and Utterson and Poole break down the door
-Hyde is dead on the floor because he has poisoned himself
-Poole and Utterson wander around the room and finds a will, a note, and a sealed letter. All of these are for Utterson.

2. What are most significant revelations or events in the chapter?

The most significant events include Utterson and Poole breaking down the door and seeing Hyde’s dead body on the floor. Hyde has killed himself. And then Mr. Utterson finds letters that are addressed to him from Dr. Jekyll.
